Christine, I would love to check out your site, but it asks for passwords.
I have a almost 3 year old born with L 5 – S1 Spina Bifida. So far she is beating the odds. She walks without AFO or crutches, she even tried roller skating today at therapy, but my husband and I always have in the back of our minds that this could change, our doctors prepare us for that. My family is from NJ, Brain invited me to check out NC spina bifida site and it seems very user friendly and I love it.

Hi, my name is Monica J. Foster and I am a married woman with spina bifida and certified life coach for people with disabilties (with a very under construction website, forgive me) I am currently in Charlotte about to move with my husband into our first home in Rowan County outside Salisbury. I have been trying very hard to become more involved in spina bifida awareness and support efforts, but haven’t been able to connect with the newest group of folks involved. Can you assist me in getting involved in the Spina Bifida Association, please?

Great to hear from you and would like to learn more from and about you. I know Charlotte is a run from Raleigh but we have a fledgling club we are working to get established. We are putting together a team for a 5k run – 1 mile walk/run/roll coming up on May 1st here in Raleigh. I will post a link to our team the SB racers.
